Women Leading Well – a GW4W Accelerator Event ~ Tuesday, October 23, 5:30 PM to 8 PM
Hosted by Resolute Consulting, Chicago, IL
Gender equity in the workplace is directly impacted by issues and biases that are often not adequately addressed. It is why the numbers of women at the top of almost all professions has not improved in more than 10 years. Women at all levels are still leaving the workforce, despite more women getting advanced degrees and the economic value they bring to organizations. We can and must do better.
By understanding the connections between women in leadership, care taking issues, and financial stability and wellbeing, we can better address gender equity in the workplace.
GW4W is hosting a round table discussion in Chicago on Tuesday, October 23rd with cross-disciplinary leaders to discuss how we can better address those issues that can keep women from being their best professionally and personally. We will explore the connections between women leading at all levels, care taking and the financial stressors that uniquely impact women’s health and wellbeing.
As part of the event, you will:
* Hear about some of the research that has been done to show why we need a different approach
* Be inspired by organizations that are successfully advocating for women in leadership at all levels.
Join us for an interactive conversation, have time to network with like-minded leaders and come away with some new approaches to supporting your career path and those of the women in your organization.
Light refreshments will be served.
