GW4W Networking – Summer Meet Up in Boston, MA

You’ll meet some of the GW4W leadership team and others in our network to gather in a positive and supportive atmosphere as we raise a glass in celebration of women – and to recognize all the good work taking place to close the gender leadership equity gap.
Speaker: Priscella Shum – Global Design Manager, Collaborations and Special Projects, Reebok Classics. “As a 16-year veteran in the Apparel industry, design has been the vessel to allow her vision of art, design and function to manifest. Priscella’s experience as a designer ripened at the intersection of design/creativity, innovation, music and culture. Having lived in the US and abroad, she has a keen eye for culture and how that connects to the youth and people. Currently, Priscella holds a critical leadership role at Reebok, managing their collaborations and special projects for Reebok Classics, working with high level celebrities and designers, and extracting the creative vision and story from partners to create tangible product with a meaning and purpose. Throughout her career at Reebok she has worked with Kerby Jean_Raymond from Pyer Moss, MISBHV, Gigi Hadid, Cardi B, Beyonce, Michelle Obama, amongst others. In past lives, her roles as a Designer and Creative, culture and foundations were laid as a result, for Adidas and Yeezy Season 1, Sean John, Baby Phat, Guess and Jessica Simpson to name a few. “Purpose is the reason you journey, Passion is the fire that ignites the way”-unknown.”
Speaker: Claudia Trevor-Wright received her BA in Psychology and MA in Health Education from New York University, and her JD from Boston University School of Law. Claudia is the Director of Student Wellness at Wellesley College, and as an active member of the New England College Health Association, she has presented on such topics as professional ethics, data disaggregation and health equity, sexual violence prevention, graphic design and communications for health educators, and more. Her work at Wellesley also includes student leadership development, drafting student health policy, and helping craft new student orientation. Prior to joining Wellesley College, Claudia was a practicing attorney and community advocate. As an associate at Foley Hoag, she worked on matters including healthcare fraud, accounting malpractice, product liability and more. The work that truly excited her, however, was chairing the firm-wide Women Associates group, and representing her pro bono clients in domestic violence and healthcare access matters. She has also worked as in-house counsel at a healthcare company, and served on several non-profit boards.She currently serves as a member of the Education Committee at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts.
