Does spirituality have a place in the business world?

Leadership and spirituality are often not discussed in a business setting.  But research has shown that a connection to a spiritual practice, not necessarily religious, can have a very positive impact on work culture.

Join us for an in-depth discussion on how spirituality can enhance how a leader impacts their organization, how this ties back to women in the workplace, and the ways that women and leadership show up in different spiritual practices.  You’ll get insight into what different practices say about women in leadership, some of the practical ways organizations can incorporate these practices, and how that can lead to a more intentionally inclusive environment, one that honors diversity and helps organizations move towards more intentional inclusion.  By understanding what different spiritual practices can provide, more organizations can have the diversity that helps drive better innovation, more resilience, and a foundation in more respectful, ethical conversations.

This discussion will be lead by Dr. Renee Moorefield, whose dissertation focused on leadership and spirituality.  She’ll be joined by a diverse panel that comes from different business and spiritual backgrounds.
